Day 1: The "Kiddie" Pool

When we arrived in Los Angeles on Sunday..we took Mylie and the entire family to the "tennis club" so the girls could go swimming. It had a little 1 and 1/2 foot deep pool. She had a blast until she was walking across it by herself and lost her footing. She fell face first. It was just deep enough that she couldn't put her arms or legs down and I was just far enough away that it took me , what seemed and eternity, to reach her!! Mylie was face down, thrashing and kicking. It was so sad. I was soaked, she was upset and the swimming was over!
Despite that "traumatic" event, it was a beautiful day and it was a really great start to the week.
